After fifty years of great service in Tokyo, the Belgian embassy facilities in Tokyo had to be rebuilt. Since 1960, the "old" embassy has been the venue for a lot of great events and many visitors still carry great memories. Half a century of Belgian history in Tokyo couldn’t be easily forgotten and therefore we convinced the Belgian Ambassador to Japan to turn this page in style. Paying tribute to its true origin, we created "old Embassy". From 30 October till 3 November 2007 the old premises of the Belgian embassy in Tokyo hosted Belgium at its most creative: interior design, fashion, film, dance, music and art.
