They always say “practice makes perfect”. But our experience teaches us that staff management at large events is never going to be perfect. This because you are dealing with temporary staffing; most of them you have never met before and probably will never meet again. You can try to brief with detailed manuals but when you have to deal with 100 staff members and more it becomes really a challenge (hey, who is still reading manuals?!). Furthermore, from management point of view, how to check whether all tasks have been executed…
So that’s why we developed the BBW Checker, a very handy app for mobile devices (iPhone / iPad) that lists up all tasks to be performed by the various teams. It is actually an extensive checklist nicely grouped for each team. Each team leader swipes the task when finished, management team gets a warning and can check whether all is done according plan.
It's not a staff management app, but a real-time task management app.
