Belgian Beer Weekend
No doubt; 2020 has been an extremely challenging year. COVID had (and still has) dominance... and we were forced to cancel most (not to say all) of our events. We were almost throwing in the event towel, but oh no..., giving up is not our style.
Mid September we found a great outdoor location in Tokyo's Toyosu area and in merely 3 weeks time we were able to set up a Belgian Beer Weekend. A little smaller version than usual, but with great views on Tokyo bay and the Tokyo Olympic & Paralympic Village; the bayside chill.
In 6 days (16-18 Oct / 23-25 Oct) we successfully welcomed a whopping 10,000 visitors and more than 100,000 smiles!!! Yes, IT IS possible to organize safe events in COVID times.
