Brand Identity
Belgian Beer Weekend 2016
Those following us with the Belgian Beer Weekend know that every year we are changing the brand identity of the event. We are not limiting ourselves to updating the color scheme, but really change the entire look & feel. Although the identity has been changing a lot, we always make sure that the brand awareness isn’t damaged. On the contrary, all the playing with the brand image over the years has strengthened considerably the brand recognition.
For 2016 we decided to work with the “blue” of the IPA beer type (we have 11 beer types) and go for a more “serious” look based on the Belgian tradition of a family escutcheon or coat-of-arms.
The brand identity has to be very flexible because it has to be implemented in many different ways on a wide variety of tools.
