Belgian Beer Weekend
Living with COVID is not easy and once again we decided to go the hard way... organizing a Belgian Beer Weekend only 10 days after the lift of the 5th COVID wave restrictions.
Seemingly intrinsic to "scheduling in pandemic times (for dummies)", we were once again facing extremely tight time schedules to pull this off, not mentioning that this window of opportunity (we are naturally born optimists) was to be found in November, an impossible timing for outdoor events pre-covid mindset. Luckily, in our case, the lure of reduced COVID restrictions is driving us to move mountains.
To make a not so long story short, for 10 days (2-7 / 11-14 November) we were blessed with great -albeit sometimes chilly- autumn blue skies without a speck of rain! And the very best of all is that 20,000 other people enjoyed this as much as we did!!
We are repeating ourselves, but yes it is possible to organize outdoor F&B events in COVID times, building on experience, technology and moderation.
